- Fries have so many preservatives that they don’t rot for three years. The French fries that you enjoy with your burger have so many preservatives in them that they don’t rot for three years! These preservatives are intended to prevent the growth of bacteria and mould.
- The burgers don’t rot for 14 years! You have to read the story behind this. A man named David Whipple wanted to prove to his friends that the burger was loaded with so many preservatives that it wouldn’t rot even after a whole month. However, he put the paper bag with the burger in his jacket and left it in the trunk of his car, and forgot all about it. His wife discovered it two years later, and the burger was exactly the same as the day he had bought it! Whipple decided to continue the experiment, so he kept the burger. 14 years later, it was still exactly the same! Why does this bother us? If you leave a piece of fresh food out, it will rot in a few days, definitely within a week or two. These burgers are so far from fresh and natural that it makes you wonder what exactly they contain.
- The cheese is only 49 per cent cheese. The cheese you enjoy at fast food chains is loaded with so many artificial chemicals, flavours and preservatives that it is barely even cheese.
- The milkshakes have more chemicals than many fertilisers.
- One combo meal at a fast food restaurant can contain enough calories for the entire day. These calories are not even healthy calories; they have absolutely no nutritive value at all.
